OUR SERVICES – Constitution Composer
Not a template with your name on it.
There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all constitution. A local sports club, a community arts organisation and a childcare centre all have very different governance needs. Fresh Allsorts Constitution Composer starts with your organisation, not a template — we ask the right questions, identify the best model for your needs, then customise it to reflect how you actually operate.

The result is a practical, fit-for-purpose constitution in harmony with your association as it evolves — not a document that will be out of tune within two years.
Composed from your organisation’s structure and practices, not a generic starting point.
Drafted in plain English, not legalese – readable by your Committee and your members.
Decades of combined governance experience working with Committees and Associations of all sorts.
We’re with you at every stage – from questionnaire through to formal adoption by your members and approval from your regulator.
how it works
A detailed questionnaire covering your current constitution, objectives, membership, committee, meetings and elections. Straightforward and practical — allow about an hour, ideally with a small Constitution Working Group of two to four people.
We talk you through best-practice options worth considering for your new constitution — what each one means, why it might be useful, how it could work for you. In person or by video call.
You get access to your new draft constitution as it takes shape in our online tool. The areas that need a decision are presented as clear options your Working Group can consider together.
Your decisions are brought together into a complete, professionally drafted, legally compliant constitution — the actual document, ready to read from beginning to end. Your committee reviews it; we work through any changes with you.
Once your committee agrees it's ready, we provide everything needed — Notice of the meeting of members to get it approved, wording for the special resolution, and a checklist for registering the change with Consumer and Business Services or the Regulator in your State or Territory.
You have our support throughout — from the initial questionnaire through to adoption and final approval. If questions come up at any point, you can contact us and we’ll work through them with you.
